Mexican War Streets Row House

Using a limited budget to update a 1895 row house in the Mexican War Street neighborhood of Pittsburgh, PA. The stairs and doorways were adjusted to create an open, light, and airy feeling, and a vestibule was added to create an entryway. The original heart pine floors were restored throughout to highlight the natural tones and wear of hundred year old wood. New trim and casing were installed based on research of profiles commonly used during the Pennsylvanian Victorian style of building.
